Overview

CatTracker is a pet health tracker. The cat profiles, health logs, and weight records you enter stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. The only data that leaves your device is the purchase information required to process in-app purchases and subscriptions, which is handled by Apple and by our purchase provider, RevenueCat.

Data We Do Not Collect

All content you create in CatTracker (cat profiles, health logs, weight records, reminders, notes and photos) is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have accounts or a login system, and this data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Data Storage

Your app content is stored locally on your device using SQLite and AsyncStorage. If you delete the app, all of this local data is permanently removed.

The optional home-screen widget reads a small snapshot (your cat's name and age) from a shared on-device app container so it can display it without opening the app. This snapshot never leaves your device and is removed together with the app.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

CatTracker offers optional paid features. When you make a purchase or restore purchases, the transaction is processed by Apple and by RevenueCat, which we use to manage purchases and keep your subscription status in sync across your devices.

For this purpose, the following limited data is processed:

• Purchase records — your purchase and subscription history and receipts, so we can unlock the features you paid for and restore them if you reinstall.
• An anonymous app user identifier generated by RevenueCat, together with basic device information used to associate a purchase with your subscription status.

This purchase data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. Your cat, health, and personal notes are never shared with RevenueCat or any other third party. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

CatTracker does not use any advertising or analytics SDKs. The only third-party service that receives any data is RevenueCat, and only for the purchase and subscription purposes described above.

Children's Privacy

CatTracker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is a pet health tracker and does not require any personal identification.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated date.
